Pastor & Sermon Information
Meet our Transitional Pastor, Dr. Kevin King
A former police officer, pastor, and now a professor, Dr. Kevin King
brings to the pulpit real life and ministry experience that will enrich
the pursuit of a healthy and Christ centered church body. He has
two doctorate degrees in preaching and church history and serves LBTS as
an Associate Professor of Homiletics and Historical Theology.
Dr. King understands the necessary integration of a
rich and robust theological life, with a passion for ministry that
lives out the Great Commission. Dr. Kin is married to his high
school sweetheart, Joy, and they have three children: Daylee, Kevin Jr.
and Julianna.
Dr. King will be serving as our pastor as we start
our search for the man God is preparing to lead our church body in the
future. He will be available on Wednesday afternoons, and can be
reached by calling the church office.
